The Brick Annual Partnership Report 2023

Partners in Children’s Health

Your Giving and Impact

Thank You

The Brick extended its generous support for children’s health once again in 2023, with more than 14,000 sales associates supporting the cause. Even as cost-of-living concerns affected customer behaviour, teams across the country continued to energetically raise money for Canada’s children’s hospitals: soliciting contributions in-store, making personal donations, and promoting the cause to their families and communities. These collaborative efforts collectively delivered more than $2.42 million to support kids and families.

Teams at The Brick once again celebrated Brickley Bear’s birthday in October. This year’s version of the small Brickley – a beloved cause marketing product – honoured care teams by sporting hospital scrubs featuring the logos of each region’s children’s hospital.

Partnerships – like one with the Running Room on a New Year’s Resolution Run – helped spread the word and round out The Brick’s impressive fundraising totals.

As this valued partnership approaches its 10th year, the entire Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations (CCHF) network remains deeply grateful for the energy and ingenuity The Brick brings to its work on behalf of kids’ health.

Thanks to you, Nyah avoided many nights in hospital.

Funds from partners like The Brick helped Nyah access the Chemotherapy at Home Program during her six-year cancer journey. The program delivers the treatment kids need at home, helping them stay close to their families, pets, toys, and other sources of comfort. After extensive treatment, including a bone marrow transplant, today Nyah is in remission. This passionate gamer and golfer aspires to be an oncologist herself one day.
